Working with children who bring different strengths, experiences and aspirations has taught me that meaningful progress begins with recognising what a child can already do, understanding what they are ready to learn next and listening to what matters to them.
JW Learning was created to offer something difficult to reproduce in a busy classroom or large tutoring program: the time and flexibility to notice what one child needs, respond in the moment and shape the next step around genuine progress.
A genuine partnership

Before we begin, I take time to understand what you hope your child will gain from coaching and to hear your child’s perspective: what they enjoy, what they are proud of, where they would like support and what they would like to achieve.
Together, we agree on clear priorities. As coaching continues, I monitor progress, keep listening to your child and keep you informed, so we can refine the goals and next steps as their learning develops.
The aim is ambitious learning, appropriate challenge, visible progress and a child who becomes increasingly confident and independent.
